We need to download the following two files:
Necesitamos descargar los dos ficheros siguientes:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/lamexp/
https://www.videohelp.com/download/NeroAACCodec-1.5.4.zip
Unzip NeroAACCodec-1.5.4.zip file, and inside the win32 folder, copy the 3 exe files and paste them inside lamexp installation folder. That's all. Next open LameXP and drag and drop all files you need to convert.
Options are: Mp3, Ogg, Opus, (aac/mp4 are disabled on my installation, maybe i need to download something more for that), Flac, Ape, A/52, Dca and Pcm/Wave.
Once LameXP is installed your links are on following folder:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\LameXP v4.16
copy that address bar on your explorer.exe window, else you just download a copy of your files.
With Videolan Multimedia Player i cannot save conversion jobs or tasks, i can only convert one mpc audio file into one mp3 file, and have to repeat the process for each audio file i want to convert.
So i need another free software that can convert an entire folder with any kind of audio files into mp3 files.
As always i trust anything i find on sourceforge.net and lamexp sounds really familiar to me so i will try that software on Windows 10.
Lamexp sounds familiar to me probably because of Audacity free audio editing software (oficial site is right now: https://www.audacityteam.org/), wich needed a lame*** file to edit mp3 files. (https://sourceforge.net/projects/audacity/)

September 2018: there must have been some updates, or i never noticed it bt there is a folder named "LameXP v4.14" that contains the 3 needed files from Nero. So no need to download NeroAACCodec-1.5.4.zip since exe files are already on a different folder on lamexp downloaded file. MAybe we still need to copy them to "LameXP" folder.
