Was looking for a free software to edit 360 videos recorded with Ricoh Theta SC camera. Davinci seems a good solution but i remember to install it one time and i think i had no clue on how to use it lol maybe i did not make much effort on trying to use it. I don't have much pacience and older i get i think less i will have lol... omg... Said that, Davinci is free and i saw its name in many websites, as i saw adobe premiere that seems to be used by many youtubers and video editors. And probably, not so easy to use for me.
By the other hand, reading Meredith Marsh, it seems that i can use Ricoh Theta S software on Windows to edit spherical videos (360 videos o VR videos). I did not remeber i could edit them on Windows so easy as using Ricoh Theta S software that is great to watch 360 videos recorded with Ricoh Theta SC.

What i used to do was to edit videos on Android with app Ricoh Theta +Video that is really easy to use and can upload directly to Youtube or at least edited video only needed to be uploaded to youtube with no need of metadata injector. You don't need to inject metadata with videos procesed by Ricoh Theta apps and software. I will leave 1% of doubt on that since it's several months i don't edit any 360 video or upload a spherical video to youtube.
And last time i watched a short 360 video i recorded with Ricoh Theta SC i felt some... quality was not so good as i remember i thought it was. Maybe my connection was not so good, i doubt that, or maybe i see really high quality videos like the ones recorded with 4K technology and now Ricoh Theta SC videos doesnt't look so well for me now...
Anyway,m if you still don't have a 360 camera, think on buying a 4k and remember that lens is really fragile, and can be scratched too easily, really too easily, it has no protection at all and anything will scratch it, so take care of it.
If i had to chose between a drone and a 360 camera, i think that i will chose a drone right now ;-)
But drones are forbidden in big protected natural parks, what makes sense, and probably will be forbidden in many places.
