MasterGraphix: " go to duckduckgo.com and do !g blablabla and you will see that it takes you to the encrypted website"
Devil Duck: "The logical explanation about it, is that Google once upon at time
did not provide searching over HTTPS, but then started experimenting
with providing HTTPS in addition to the default of HTTP. Google did so
under encrypted.google.com instead of www.google.com which was used for HTTP.
The encrypted.google.com still works today, but shouldn't provide different results than www.google.com which today is exclusively HTTPS only. Google no longer support HTTP for searching at all."
