I still don´t know why the miui xiaomi radio app stopped working after several years on my Poco X3 Pro smart phone. Maybe some update or just some corrupted file? i have no idea, not even if Android has corrupted files :-)
Anyway, FM Radio Version 1.0.492 is working again on MIUI Global version 13.0.4 Stable, 13.0.4.0(SJUEUXM) with Android Version 12 SKQ1.211006.001
but radio was repaired no thanks to Android or Miui or even Fm Radio updates.
I had to backup all my data to an external drive, you can have backups at your miui account or drive and even have all your videos and photos at google photos and google drive wich are best solutions and i guess what anyone does except paranoid people like me :-) as if we had someting to hide... so sick from me.
Well, after having all my photos and videos copied to a hard drive i had to make a factory reset and i did not looked for the hardest way to do it pressing three buttons, i just went to Android settings, typed "reset" inside the search box and press Factory reset. Or go to About phone, scroll down and press Factory reset.There si option to jsu erase all apps, i'm not sure to have seen so many options when i did the hard reset. Anyway i guess i choosed erase all data. And next step is just configuring my phone as the first date i switched it on :-)
So, even if it is a lot of time needed to restore all files and reinstall apps, if someting does not works and you do not find how to repair it, there is always the option to facory reset your phone and for my FM Radio app it worked.
Yes, best thing to do is backu your phone under About phone and Backup and restore option, do not forget your Mi account number and password.
Ah! and if you like notepad a si do, do not use too much Google Keep notes or miui Notes since there is no way to export notes to text files and you will lose all your notes if you lose access to your phone, google account or mi account. Instead i recommend using text files .txt and app like QuickEdit+, apk name com.rhmsoft.edit.pro, editor: Rhythm Software, app is called QuickEdit Text Editor Pro for the one time paid version with no ads and i paid with google pay. i dont remeber if it was 5usd or less, but i was using free version for years so it was time to pay for it. And free version is called: Quickedit text editor.
