12 de Diciembre de 2018: De repente me aparece error en VirtualBox de nuevo con máquinas incluso de 32 bits y resulta que se había deshabilitado la virtualización en la BIOS. No es posible deshabilitarlo desde la ventana de Bios ya que ACER Aspire E 15 no tiene estas opciones, y yo ni loco me he puesto a editar de nuevo el fichero de texto para deshabilitarlo :-)
Solo se me ocurre que la última actualización de Windows Update, la de Noviembre 2018 o puede que Diciembre 2018, ahora tengo la duda, haya accedido de alguna forma a la configuración de la BIOS Versión 1.13 de mi portatil y me ha deshabilitado la virtualización. No tiene sentido pero es la única explicación que me doy...
Volví a editar el fichero, todos los pasos de nuevo y en un post algo más corto y claro:

El archivo h2ouve.rar lo descomprimo en d:\h2ouve (o si prefieres en c:\)
Y la utilidad de AMD para comprobar si esta habilitada la virtualización:
Cortana - escribo "cmd" - click derecho en cmd y ejecutar como administrador.

Cambiamos el 00 señalado por 01 en la línea 1674 o más bien que empieza por 000000E0: penultima columna.
Cambiamos 01 por 00 en la línea 1680 que empieza por 00000140, antepenúltima columna:
Vamos a seguir las indicaciones de PierterBKK para no confundirnos, lo grabamos como vars_mod.txt (File - Save as...)
Volvemos a nuestra ventana negra de comandos, cmd, que tenemos aún abierta:
D:\H2OUVE>
y escribimos: h2ouve.exe -sv vars_mod.txt
Habran algunas lineas que pondra Set failed si lees el resultado de ejecutar lo anterior, pero el caso es que funciona. Al menos con la BIOS que tengo!!! Más abajo he copiado todo el resultado del comando a lo bestia...

Just saw that my Virtualbox only allows me to install 32 bits operating systems so even if securable says that AMD A9-9410 has virtualization support, something is wrong. It is disabled in some way or it does not support virtualization at all...

I restart Acer E15 and press F2 to access BIOS... There is NO OPTION for AMD-V.
No virtualization option on this AMD A9-9410 :-(
Anyway, i did not thought i would need to activate virtualization to use virtual machines.
So error is just using the .ova file from https://www.offensive-security.com/kali-linux-vmware-virtualbox-image-download/ or from https://www.kali.org/downloads/
So, i only have to install kali on a virtual machine and not use an already installed image or virtualized service of kali 2017.2

El error me ha surgido por importar el servicio virtualizado de kali 2017.2 en lugar de instalarlo yo desde cero. Y el error surge porque Acer Aspire E 15 E5-523G-958X lleva un procesador AMD A9-9410 cuya bios no tiene opción para habilitar virtualización (no podríamos usar la virtualización de Windows Server) y supongo que directamente el procesador no admite virtualización. Ah! el error también será porque el archivo .ova que descargamos es kali instalado teniendo virtualización configurada aunque no he visto dónde esta esa opción en configuración de máquina virtual de Virtualbox...

AND IT WORKS ON MY LAPTOP AND BIOS!!!
I took the risk to modify bios, truth is that i'm not sure what i have modified but i'm certain that if i changed the wrong value i could lose my computer. If you flash badly your bios you can brealk your computer and it will never start any operating system again :-) so... in this case we are not flashing bios but i have no idea what exactly we do, Pierter does and maybe you can ask on http://www.geektech.co.nz/how-to-unlock-the-nvme-performance-on-the-lenovo-y700

me hubiera gustado ver en texto lo que se modifica pero con hexeditor no aparece el texto por lo que se necesita otro programa supongo... Si alguién sabe cómo comprobar que se esta modificando, cómo comprobar que es la opción de habilitar virtualización, por favor que lo comente o enlace. GRACIAS!!!

Esta vez me he dado cuenta que tras reiniciar el ordenador
el número de la línea que tenía que buscar había cambiado
Hay que buscar "Setup"

14-12-2017: aún no me creo haber habilitado la virtualización en este portatil cuando la bios ni siquiera muestra una opción para hacerlo :-) Ya me gustaría tener los conocimientos del tal PieterBKK, cómo se lee lo que el supo modificar???

Just saw that my Virtualbox only allows me to install 32 bits operating systems so even if securable says that AMD A9-9410 has virtualization support, something is wrong. It is disabled in some way

I restart Acer E15 and press F2 to access BIOS... There is NO OPTION for AMD-V.
No virtualization option on this AMD A9-9410 :-(
Anyway, i did not thought i would need to activate virtualization to use virtual machines.
So error is just using the .ova file from https://www.offensive-security.com/kali-linux-vmware-virtualbox-image-download/ or from https://www.kali.org/downloads/
So, i only have to install kali on a virtual machine and not use an already installed image or virtualized service of kali 2017.2

El error me ha surgido por importar el servicio virtualizado de kali 2017.2 en lugar de instalarlo yo desde cero. Y el error surge porque Acer Aspire E 15 E5-523G-958X lleva un procesador AMD A9-9410 cuya bios no tiene opción para habilitar virtualización (no podríamos usar la virtualización de Windows Server) y supongo que directamente el procesador no admite virtualización. Ah! el error también será porque el archivo .ova que descargamos es kali instalado teniendo virtualización configurada aunque no he visto dónde esta esa opción en configuración de máquina virtual de Virtualbox...

Cambiamos el 00 señalado por 01 en la línea 1674 o más bien que empieza por 000000E0: penultima columna.
Cambiamos 01 por 00 en la línea 1680 que empieza por 00000140, antepenúltima columna:
y pulsamos el simbolo de diskette para grabar los cambios al archivo vars.txt (yo he guardado antes una copia del original vars-orgnl.txt). Bueno, vamos a seguir las indicaciones de PierterBKK para no confundirnos, lo grabamos como vars_mod.txt (File - Save as...)
Volvemos a nuestra ventana negra de comandos, cmd, que tenemos aún abierta:

y escribimos: h2ouve.exe -sv vars_mod.txt (comprueba antes
espera jajaja si esos dos valores son importantes y modificamos la bios sin tener ni idea de que estamos haciendo y no la tengo, podemos cargarnos la bios y por tanto el ordenador...

AND IT WORKS ON MY LAPTOP AND BIOS!!!
I took the risk to modify bios, truth is that i'm not sure what i have modified but i'm certain that if i changed the wrong value i could lose my computer. If you flash badly your bios you can brealk your computer and it will never start any operating system again :-) so... in this case we are not flashing bios but i have no idea what exactly we do, Pierter does and maybe you can ask on http://www.geektech.co.nz/how-to-unlock-the-nvme-performance-on-the-lenovo-y700
Anyway, Thank you so much Mister PierterBKK because the trick works on Acer Aspire E 15 E5-523G-958X with bios

Me la he jugado y aún funciona mi nuevo Acer E 15 E5-523G-958X
He habilitado virtualización siguiendo los pasos de PierterBKK
enlaces de arriba.

A mi me ha funcionado, informate y valora si te la juegas o no ;-)
me hubiera gustado ver en texto lo que se modifica pero con hexeditor no aparece el texto por lo que se necesita otro programa supongo... Si alguién sabe cómo comprobar que se esta modificando, cómo comprobar que es la opción de habilitar virtualización, por favor que lo comente o enlace. GRACIAS!!!

Los he copiado porque sinceramente esto lo quiero guardar varios años y no quiero que se pierda. Suerte!!!
