On an spanish known website called Xakata they recommend freeware from Aomei. IT DOES NOT WORK TO COPY OR CLONE, nor on FREEWARE versions nor on PRO TEST MODE. I just installed both versions and it asks me to pay for license to start the cloning process...
i refer to AOMEI Partition Assistant 9.13.1 wich i just installed and uninstalled on January 25th, 2023.
Minitool Partition Manager free version, wich i already had installed on Windows 10 and wich i love for resizing partitions or formato to FAT32 does not allow copy or clone or migrate system or hdd without entering a purchased license number.
Aomei at least looks like having a cheaper monthly license.
True image monitor wich i loved too to build computer images under their own .tib format is always a paid software. I have not checked if they have a trial version. Anyway True Image has always been a solid program.
I remember free software like hddclone or some similar name.

i do not find any free software on google for cloning system, not just copying data. too many entries about aomei wich call free cloning just copying data partitions and not copying a bootable windows...
Free is probably inside many linux flavours with clonehdd command...

i have a kingston ssd a400 connected to seagate circuit so Seatools may work and recognize my kingston ssd as a seagate hard drive.
Seatools is just to check hard drive...
Acronis True Image 2014 paid version works fine under Windows 10. Clone Disk option is on last tab, right side. Under Tools and Utilities
i selected options, exclude... processing, not cloning partitions (i hope it makes a bootable gpt drive -uefi- and not just copy data and partition - it does - it says bootable under clone description)... is soooo looooongggg... i'm really tempted to abort, terminate process under task manager... i must have done something wrong cancelling size calculation for target drive after excluding a partition folders...
I terminated process and restarted clone option without excluding folders. i will delete data and partitions once disk is cloned.
Computer needs to be restarted... i hate that.

I used french software handbrake on this laptop and i thought expending one night to convert a personal movie was ok, then i tried handbrake on Lenovo ideapad 5 with intel core i5 intel irisx graphics and it converted same movie to mp4 in just few minutes, less than an hour... i have definitively no idea about computers. Well my Acer costed less than half the price of this Lenovo.
10 minutes and screen still shows "Starting Acronis UEFI Loader..." is it working???

TRUE IMAGE DOES NOT WORK CLONING HDD TO SDD. WHY? because sdd is connected to usb port??? how i would clone internal hdd??? acer? windows 10? is 10 minutes now i still see "Starting Acronis UEFI Loader". These things did not use to happen on my windows 7 and Vaio laptop... is it because i try to clone hdd to sdd??? it would work if i clone to hdd? why?

14:38-14:55 20 minutes will be gone stuck at laptop start up with Acer logo and Acronis is starting uefi shit on top left corner :(
... should i make a fresh windows 10 install and look for all laptop drivers knowing i will get so much troubles... I would install windows 7 and i probably tried one time and could not find drivers on acer website for anything different than slow windows 10 (bandwith eater with edge updates and so on)...
linux? omg, please not, i will have much more issues with drivers and i will not like available software. is long time i stopped trying to use inux withut being myself a programmer.
OLD MINITOOL PARTITION WIZARD FREE 9.1 - FREE FOR HOME USERS - HAS MIGRATE OS TO SSD/HDD FREE OPTION
I just have copy minitoll 9.1 program files x86 folder from my old Vaio Windows 7 to my Acer Windows 10 and it works without need of installation.
But i just got error saying to check for errors on source disk so i just launched surface test and next i will look for system error with tools from properties tab of C:/ but i have more partitions and main drive...

Reading message error it seems a surface test is not needed, it says check file system.
Another solution would be to use acronis to make an image of entire hard drive HDD or just backup .tib of boot and main partitions. Install new SSD on laptop, install Windows 10 from cd or from bootable usb and once windows is running, install acronis true image and recover previous old windows image from old hdd to new sdd. It always work but it gets more time than just cloning hard drive hdd to sdd, and much more clicks...
Does anyone has lost files on their Android phone as it could happen on damaged hard drives? my phone is Poco X3 Pro, imposible to write correctly while charging phone, it clicks many places i don't and insert characters while i'm typing any word...
